Terms of Service

Last updated:

By accessing the 9Mail.xyz website or API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What the service provides

9Mail.xyz provides receiving-only temporary email inboxes and a credential-protected API for approved integrations. Public inboxes use unique capability links instead of user accounts. The service does not provide an identity, a permanent mailbox, or a guarantee that any sender will accept the address.

2. Acceptable use

You may use 9Mail.xyz only for lawful, low-risk purposes. You must not:

  • use the service to facilitate fraud, phishing, harassment, malware, spam campaigns, or other abusive or illegal activity;
  • intentionally direct bulk, harmful, or abusive traffic or messages at the service;
  • attack, probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security and rate-limit controls;
  • try to discover or access an inbox, message, attachment, administrator area, or API resource that is not yours;
  • scrape or automate the public website to create large numbers of inboxes; or
  • use a temporary address for financial services, healthcare, identity verification, password recovery, or an account you need to retain.

Authorized automation must use an issued API credential, stay within its abilities and rate limits, and follow the API documentation. Having a credential does not permit abuse or attempts to evade controls.

3. Inbox access and your responsibility

Anyone with a public inbox URL can read that inbox until it expires. You are responsible for keeping the URL private and for deciding whether the service is appropriate for the message you expect to receive. Do not enter confidential information into messages or workflows that use 9Mail.xyz.

Email content, links, and attachments come from third-party senders. Treat them as untrusted. 9Mail.xyz does not endorse sender content and is not responsible for actions you take after opening a message or following a link.

4. Expiry, deletion, and availability

Standard inboxes expire after approximately 60 minutes, after which their data is scheduled for cleanup. We may remove an inbox, message, attachment, credential, domain, or access route earlier when needed for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, or legal compliance.

Do not rely on the service as a record or backup. We do not guarantee availability, message delivery time, successful receipt, continued access, data recovery, or compatibility with a third-party website.

5. API credentials

API tokens are secrets. Keep them out of client-side code, public repositories, logs, and support messages. We may expire, revoke, or restrict a credential that is compromised, inactive, misused, or no longer needed.

6. Suspension and abuse response

We use automated controls and may investigate reported abuse. We may rate-limit or block IP addresses, senders, receiving domains, or credentials and may preserve or disclose relevant records when reasonably necessary to secure the service, protect others, or comply with law.

To report abuse, email [email protected]. Do not include passwords, API tokens, or more sensitive content than is necessary to explain the report.

7. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, or delivery. Use it at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, 9Mail.xyz and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, access, profits, or business resulting from use of or inability to use the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
